making progress...

So, I have several friends who are pregnant. Now, for me that's good and bad. Bad because it just serves as a reminder to my parents that I'm neither married or even close to it. Which means that I'm also not close to having children. It's good because it just gives me a good excuse to spend hours knitting. Every child needs a first blanket. This one is from the well known Mason Dixon book. Now, garter stitch is not my favorite to knit but it is an easy stitch for when you want to watch a movie.
I'm still working on the border but I think it's looking pretty good.

Needles: Addi turbo #6
Modifications: Square 9 I only did 36 garter rows, not 54.
